Application of dry type iron core shunt reactor
In super high tension long range transmission system, it is connected to the low tension side or the tertiary coil
of the transformer in parallel and used as the capacitive charging current of the compensating line to limit the
system voltage rise and reduce the insulating requirement and ensure the reliability of the line.

Structural feature of dry type iron core shunt reactor
(1)Adopting epoxy resin formed solid insulation structure, three-phase integrated, with silicon steel sheet as
magnetic medium, framework structure composed of circular iron yoke, high fill factor radiating type iron
column. Its coil is composed of multiple encapsulations and shunt wound with multi-strand flat copper conductor
with small bore so as to effectively reduce the volume and loss;
(2)The reactor core and winding are not submerged into any liquid, its cooling mode is air self-cooling, thermal
endurance class F, free of oil leak, safety and is convenient for manufacturing and maintenance and operation.
(3)The magnetic flux adopts silicon steel sheet as magnetic medium, the magnetic loop is triangle magnetic
circuit structure. The iron core column is composed of the irradiating type discus and special stone air gap, a
solid integer undergoing epoxy hot setting so as to reduce iron eddy current loss and noise.
(4)The reactor winding is composed of multiple encapsulated coils; Each coil is wound with glass silk enameled
flat copper conductor, and the coil is insulated and encapsulated with epoxy resin and solidified by high
temperature. Since the reactor coil is wound with multi-flat copper conductor of small bore, thus it effectively
reduces the eddy current loss of the conductor under harmonic wave;
(5)The encapsulated chamber of the encapsulated reactor coil has axial heat emission air flue, with perfect heat
dispersion.
(6)The reactor coil and iron core, after undergoing hot setting, have perfect electric insulation property and
mechanical property;

Technical feature of resin insulation dry type iron core shunt reactor
(1)The coil is made by casting of epoxy resin, with features of inflaming retarding, self extinguishing, free of
maintenance, high mechanical strength, anti-short circuit impact, high insulating strength, small partial
discharge, long service life;
(2)The making of the iron core adopts manufacturing technology of dry type transformer, with features of slight
vibration and low noise, little magnetic leakage, small electromagnetic interference;
(3)The integral structure of the product is compact, with small installation dimension and space;
(4)The technical specification of the product conforms to the requirements of the international standard IEC289-
88 and ministerial standard JB-5346-98, its technical performance is up to the current international level of the
similar products
