1.The earthing transformer are commonly used to provide an artificial system of grounding point can take loads of neutral point, for grounding system to use, this product neutral point connected to the arc suppression coil or resistance, and then ground. Product Introduction
When the system is delta connection or star connection with the neutral point can not be drawn out, the earthing transformer can draw out the neutral point to add arc suppression coil or resistance. This kind of transformer adopts Z type connection (or zigzag type connection), which is different from the ordinary transformer: the coils of each phase are divided into two groups and wound on the magnetic column in the opposite direction. The advantage of this connection is that the zero-sequence magnetic flux can circulate along the magnetic column, while the zero-sequence magnetic flux of the ordinary transformer is along the leakage magnetic flux. Therefore, the zero sequence impedance of the Z-type earthing transformer is very small (about 10), while the zero sequence impedance of the ordinary transformer is much larger. According to regulations, when ordinary transformers with arc suppression coils are used, their capacity shall not exceed 20% of the transformer capacity. Z-type transformers can be equipped with 90% to 100% capacity arc suppression coils. Besides, earthing transformers can also carry secondary loads, which can replace station transformers to save costs.
