American box transformer is provided with full-range protection by backup protection fuse and plug-in fuse in series, which is simple in principle, economical and reliable. The backup protection fuse is an oil-immersed high-voltage current limiting fuse with large breaking capacity and only operates when the transformer fails. The plug-in fuse is equipped with double-sensitive fuse, which can provide double protection of current and temperature. After the double-sensitive fuse is blown, the fuse core can be easily replaced on site.

box transformer structure

The product box structure is composed of three parts: high pressure interval, low pressure interval and fuel tank interval. The high-voltage interval includes high-voltage cable accessories, load switch, no-load tap-changer, plug-in fuse, pressure release valve, oil level gauge, oil temperature meter and oil drain valve. The LV interval includes LV bushings, LV meters, circuit breakers, and capacitance compensation. The tank interval includes transformer winding and iron core, radiator, high-voltage load switch and fuse. The tank transformer structure can be designed as "product" type or "target" type as shown in the following figure according to the requirements of the scheme.

Operating Instructions

load switch:

American box transformer has three types of two-station, four-station T-type and four-station V-type according to the different functions it realizes, and one of them can be selected,

three types are as follows:

Refer to Figure 2 for the four-station V-type load switch. The structure of the power plate is V-type, as shown in the black part of the figure. In the figure, "I and itn are the power supply incoming and outgoing lines of the ring network, and" R "is the meridian

backup fuse and insert fuse to connect high voltage incoming line of transformer. The ring network load switch switches the network with load. Four working states of the load switch:

1. In the "I-II-T" position, the "I" and "II" networks are connected, and the transformer has electricity; (The substation acts as a ring network)

2, B I -T "position," I "network and transformer communication; (substation terminal)

3, "II -T" position, "II" network and transformer communication; (substation terminal)

4, "O" position, "I, II" network and transformer are disconnected; (all without electricity)

Insert the rotating shaft of the load switch with a special operating handle and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise for about 130 °. The power plate will rotate one gear for each operation of the load switch. Switch operation example: power supply from power supply ° I "is changed to power supply" II.

Insert the special operating handle into the switch shaft;

, and the V-shaped blade of the switch is in the "I-II-T" position;

clockwise one more time, and the "V" blade is between "II -T" to power the power supply "II"; operation is complete.

the above two methods can be used to switch from the power supply "I" to the power supply 11II ", the second method is safer and more reasonable. After the power supply "I" is cut off, it will not be powered again, and if the power supply "II" fails, it will not cause the failure. However, when the first method is adopted, dual power supply will occur. When the power supply "I" is converted to the power supply "II", if the power supply phase is different, the fault will be caused.image.png

Four-station ring network type load switch (T type) The working principle of four-station "T" type load switch is shown in Figure 3, and the principle operation is the same as that of "V" type.

Two-station terminal load switch

The structure diagram is shown in Fig. 4, in which T' is connected with the high-voltage incoming terminal. When the user is operating, insert the special operating handle into the load switch shaft, rotate "90" counterclockwise, and the load switch turns to the "off" position. The terminal load switch only cuts off the transformer branch in the terminal power supply mode, or works when replacing the fuse core of the plug-in fuse. Therefore, the terminal load switch only divides and combines two positions, and due to its small size, the operating force is also small, the operation is very convenient. In order to reduce the oil pollution in the oil tank, it is recommended that the user disconnect the low-voltage main switch or the outgoing switch before operating the load switch to cut off the low-voltage side load.

cable head

a and 12kV pre-installed substations are cables, and the high-voltage power supply is led out of the oil tank by epoxy cast insulating sleeve. In order to facilitate the manufacturer's test and user acceptance test, the insulating sleeve itself has the ability to withstand power frequency withstand voltage and lightning impulse withstand voltage.

B. Select elbow-type or T-type cable head matching with the cable section, clean its inner and outer surfaces and the surface of the insulating sleeve with anhydrous ethanol, coat a little 7501 vacuum silicone grease on the surface of the sleeve, and install it according to the special installation specifications of the cable work area. See the accompanying instructions for the installation of the cable head.

Plug-in Fuse Replacement

plug-in fuse is a component that can replace the flame core externally. When replacing, first pull the button of the pressure release valve of the upper fuel tank to balance the pressure inside and outside the fuel tank. In order to ensure the safety of operators and equipment, the plug-in fuse is plugged and unplugged when it is not loaded, so first disconnect the low-voltage switch to cut off all loads on the low-voltage side, then switch the load switch to the power supply and transformer disconnection position with the operating handle, then loosen the handle on the fuse holder with the operating handle, and then rotate it by about 90 degrees to eliminate the adhesion between the sealing gasket and the outer wall, pull out the melt of the fuse 70-80mm obliquely upward, and stay for a few seconds. After the oil on the melt flows away, pull out the melt to prevent the oil from dripping on other components outside the oil tank. Wipe the surface of the melt with clean cotton cloth, and then replace the melting core. When replacing, be sure to pay attention to the parameters marked on the core, different parameters can not be substituted. The replacement procedure is shown in the figure. After replacing the fuse core, insert the melt into the fuse support by force. When rotating the handle on the melt to the locking position, make sure that the gasket is close to the fuse support and the handle is buckled on the boss to ensure that the substation is fully sealed without moisture. Then close the high-voltage load switch and the low-voltage switch again, and then the power supply can be restored.

Because the substation is a three-phase system, whether it is a backup protection fuse or a plug-in fuse, when a phase melt is blown, the general three-phase melt should be replaced, unless it can be determined that only one phase melt has passed the fault current.

transportation, installation and maintenance

transportation

The factory substation shall be filled with 25#(or 45#) transformer oil as indicated by the oil level gauge in the oil tank. During transportation and loading and unloading, it is not allowed to invert and overturn, not to hit parts, and not to vibrate strongly.

Special attention shall be paid to the lifting hook of the substation during hoisting and displacement. The lifting hook shall be hooked on the hook of the oil tank and shall be lifted slowly to prevent the wire rope from damaging the paint on the surface of the substation and even causing the center of gravity of the whole substation to shift, tilt and fall.

Installation

When the substation is installed on site, attention should be paid to the protection of the paint on the surface of the cabinet. Collision, cracks, etc. of the barometer, oil level gauge, thermometer, handle of plug-in fuse and insulating sleeve elements are not allowed, and the screws are not loose.

Clean the dust and dirt on the outside of the substation, inside the cabinet door and the surface of the insulation sleeve.

Check whether the nameplate data and product certificate of the substation are consistent with the order form, and check whether the documents and spare parts are omitted according to the packing list.

Maintenance

The factory products have been strictly assembled and adjusted, and do not need to be disassembled again during installation, so as not to affect performance. Maintenance is limited to the following situations:

conduct transformer oil sampling analysis once a year;

the oil level is found to be reduced, it should be replenished in time, and the oil grade is the same as the oil in the box:

After the fuse is blown, the cause should be found out. When replacing the fuse core, it should be noted that its specifications and models should be the same as the original specifications and models.

Test before acceptance and commissioning

After unpacking, check whether the documents and accessories are complete;

Whether the oil level indicated by the oil level gauge meets the product regulations; Whether the tap changer is in the correct gear position;

◇ Operate the load switch clockwise and counterclockwise for four times each, and there shall be no abnormal phenomena such as "refusing to divide and refuse to close;

◇ Measurement of DC resistance on high and low voltage side; ◇ Measurement of transformer transformation ratio;

: Insulation resistance measurement and power frequency withstand voltage test (according to the factory 80%).

Technical requirements:

Refer to the actual size of the combined transformer for relevant dimensions: the concrete foundation shall have a flat surface, and the combined transformer station shall be fixed on the foundation by pressing plate; the type of grounding bar and cable fixing bracket can be determined according to the actual situation; the cable fixing frame and grounding bar shall be embedded; the position of the inlet and outlet cable holes shall be determined according to the specific situation; after the installation of the combined transformer, the front of the switch must have a gap of not less than 1.5m to facilitate operation; the grounding grid can be made of 12 galvanized round steel or 40 × 4 galvanized flat copper, and the grounding resistance shall meet the requirements of the power department.
